LAHORE: Fortunate for Multan Sultans, rain came to their rescue in a situation where they were struggling in the game against Karachi Kings after being reduced to 64 for 6. The match has been called off and one point each has been awarded to both the teams.
Multan Sultans didn’t get the kind of start they’d have wanted today in Lahore as they played against Karachi Kings. Even though Moeen Ali struck a few lusty blows scoring 29 off 22 balls, no other batsman could stay at the wicket. They were reduced to 64 for the loss of 6 wickets before the counter-attack came from Shahid Afridi who hit 35* off 17 balls and got into a nice little partnership with Sohail Tanvir.
