KARACHI: Karachi-based left-handed batsman Muhammad Taha, who declared Man of the Tournament in the recently concluded National U-19 Cup 2019 ignored in the U-19 World Cup squad, which was earlier announced by National Junior Selection Committee.
According to details, The National Junior Selection Committee led by Saleem Jaffer on Friday announced the 15-member Pakistan squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s U-19 World Cup 2020, which will take place in South Africa.
U-16 player Muhammad Shahzad, who has never played even domestic U-19 match, have shockingly selected for U19 World Cup while he ignored talented Sindh all-rounder Muhammad Taha.
It is pertinent to mention here that Sindh is U-19 Champion but only one player of this team got place into U19’s World Cup squad of Pakistan.
Muhammad Taha scored 435 runs in 8 innings and took 13 wickets in the recently concluded PCB three-day Championship and was named Best batsman and Best all-rounder award but Junior Selection Committee’s Chief Selector Saleem Jaffer neglect him.
